The Language of Worlds // July-August

Doing this on time for once. So this is created by the amazing Liv go check out her blog and the other ones who participated. Especially Maddie's cause her's is awesome!

1.Where does your character live, and how does that impact them?

I haven't quite figured out where it's located but somewhere in a fantasy version of late 1920's Europe. The Rookshire estate is located. It's isolated and bordered by some stunning mountains. It's practically a palace.

2.If they could book a vacation to anywhere in the/their world, where would they go and why?

Paris is a favorite. England too.

3. On a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high), how ambitious are they?

Incredibly, but he likes to appear carefree. A solid 10

4. What do they want to achieve long-term?

He claims to want the crown, but his true goal is to destroy his family's empire. Even if he has to die in the process, I'm sure.

5. Who inspires them?

His Father's ruthlessness, His Mother's disregard, and his sister's determination.

6. How would they handle seclusion?

Not well, Cynfael is a social creature. He doesn't like being left with his thoughts.

7Are they a cat person, or a dog person?

Either or, like most of the fae. He has an affinity with animals.

8What's their favorite type of weather?

Anything warm, it's always cold where he lives.

9.When they're hungry, does it show? How?

Only if he wanted it to, he's adept at hiding his emotions.

10. What's one Bible verse your character would identify with?

Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly!
Proverbs 23:31

  1. That last one though! That is perfect, oh my gosh.
I’m just thrilled and baffled by the idea of him having a sister. Or a mother for that matter. It just excites me to no end.
And all the gifs. Much love.

    1. XD He is such an alcoholic!
Oh she's been fun to write, his mother is a pathetic excuse for one. The response I was hoping for.
      :D Thanks!

    2. But I loves him anyway.
That's awesome. My next question is, is this his mother, as in his dad's actual wife, or is it his mother as in whatever side chick his daddy knocked up?

    3. He needs it.
:D That would be the side chick, I haven't really tackled the other one yet. We'll see.

  2. *CHOKES ON LAUGHTER* That last one. He's so terrible. XDD And #4. Wow. The boy is intense and focused, I'll give 'im that.

Gosh, I love your character posts. This was great!

    1. XD He is! It's probably going to be the death of him.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy them!

  3. So, in my head, I cast a young Matt Dillon as Cynfael, but wow, Ian Somerhalder works well too. I only know him from Lost, but yeah, I can see that. Definitely.

    1. Oh he is a good choice too. I started with Ian's face while writing him. But Matt Dillon suits him too.
Love Lost I need to re watch it at some point. :D

    2. I need to rewatch Lost too, but I know it will suck me back in and I won't be able to do anything but think about it, so I'm keeping my distance until I have time for that. Except I watch a Sawyer-centric ep on his birthday every year.

  5. Awesome! I really do love how effortlessly ambitious he is. Also, the second to last gif is my favorite. It is very him. XD

  6. That last one though. Sounds like Cynfael.

Gosh, I know I keep saying this but HE IS SO INTERESTING! So complex. It's the little things that make him fascinating: like I wouldn't have seen it coming that he likes warm weather; I would've definitely thought he loved the cold. If he had an opinion, that is. He's just such a deep character; every time I learn something else, I realize there's even more to him than I thought.

    1. Yup, he likes his wine.

I'm so glad you think so. He is a bit like a snake that way, maybe it's because he's cold blooded ;)
      That's quite a compliment. Thanks!
