My Rock and My Refuge: Cover Reveal

You guys know I'm a sucker for anything Beauty & the Beast. I read nearly every retelling I can get my hands on and Rachel Kovaciny is releasing one. As a rabid fan and consumer of her books, I can guarantee it will be worth a read! I can't wait to see her take on 'A tale as old as time'

Beauty and the Beast... re-imagined.

When a German baker and her brother take jobs working for a wealthy recluse, they're only hoping to earn enough money to help their parents regain the family's bakery.

But they soon learn that gold and silver aren't the only treasures to be found in the Colorado mountains.

It releases on November 8th

Make sure you give her a follow. Honestly, she's the best person I know, and insanely talented.

 But without further ado....

Isn't it pretty? I love the cozy Ghibli-esque vibe.

November 8th, don't forget.

One Bad Apple- Cover Reveal

I've been so excited about this story!!! Rachel Kovaciny who is both an amazing friend and mentor of mine wrote a Snow White retelling! I have developed a huge attachment to the tale and adore the many versions of it, and I know hers will be exceptional.

It's releasing July 28, 2020

And it has a fantastic cover!!!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs... reimagined.

Fourteen-year-old Levi Dalton is numb. Hands tied behind his back, he's about to be hauled away for poisoning a beautiful girl and her kind father. The woman pointing her finger at him and accusing him of murder is the very same woman he hoped could teach him to heal illnesses, not cause them. The woman he idolized. The woman he trusted.

Levi knows he should be scared for his own life. But all he can think about is how graves always come in pairs.

A Title Reveal

I can't believe that I almost forgot to put this post up. Jack has written another book, and at this point I have fallen in love with her writing and I want to read everything she has ever written. Go follow her blog you will not regret it.

I am terrible at cover reveals because I don't do the whole scroll down thing. It doesn't mean I am any less excited let me assure you. I am very excited!!!

I love this title! It's very poetic and I am very excited! I also have a description for this story.

Adam Clark has just returned from the war in Iraq. He has come home to a family which has rejected him and wants nothing to do with him. He feels all he has left is the house his grandpa left him and the God he put his trust in. Dealing with PTSD because of what he experienced in the war, Adam sometimes wonders how he will get through each day.
India Lee struggles with PTSD for different reasons. Suffering trauma from her past, India is often scared to leave her house. Depressed and lonely, her only companion is her older brother Jared and her only occupation her little flower garden. She doesn't trust her new neighbor anymore than she trusts anyone.

Then comes the day when Adam steps outside his own shell to help India. A small act of kindness changes their lives and sets them on a path which could bring them healing if only they are willing to open up and face their broken pasts and their present pain. Their battles are long and frightening, but both believe God can bring them through the darkness until they see the light face to face.

This sounds like it's going to break my heart, which is the kind of books I tend to go for. Sorry if this was a bit of a rushed post. You guys should really follow Jack, she is always working on something or having adventures. I'm trying to learn from her.
