Why did you start blogging, and why have you kept blogging?

Such a good question. Um for a variety of reasons, mainly to share my writing but also as a place to share books, art, and random anecdotes of my life.

What is your favorite type of blog post to write?

Character-related ones, or the somewhat ranty ones.

What are your top three favorite blog posts?

Going back through old posts was incredibly cringe-inducing. Still surprised anyone has followed me.

Art is Pain (All you need to paint is pain XD)

Self Care (Still stand by this)

Monsters and Final Girls

What are some of your favorite things to do to relax?

Sketching outside/ watching dramas/ reading/writing/photography/cleaning/sitting in the sun/ listening to music

What are three of your favorite things?

Coffee, dramas (can't choose between Chinese or Korean ones at the moment), Jesus (I mean that sincerely)

What are your proudest blogging moments?

Every follow and comment has meant the world to me, so that and whenever I see my blog on anyone's blog list. It's so surreal.

What are your hobbies outside of blogging?

I'm very bad at both piano and violin, but I do enjoy playing them. Photography is also something I dabble in. Art

Describe your personality in three words.

Stubborn, messy, and soft (sometimes)

What are your top three pet peeves?

When people act like you can't like things/people that are problematic. Most things are and you really can't get away from it. It also doesn't mean that you agree or support the problematic things. I watched an hour-long video yesterday that addressed all the issues with k-pop. And boy is there a lot, but I like that after covering all the problems, the girl who made the video then followed it up with why she still enjoys k-pop.

Unnecessarily loud noises. I startle easy.

Being treated like a kid ( I know I look young, just ugh)

What's something your followers don't know about you?

(And anything pastel infused and girly apparently) My former edgy self is shaken.

Who is your all-time favorite book character?

HOWL FREAKING PENDRAGON! I love him, I don't know why. He's a disaster but he's unbelievably petty and pretty and I love pretty bois.

What’s your most unpopular book opinion?

Count Olaf and Kit are an interesting ship, and I would read a book of their younger years.

What character would you bring to a family event as your fake partner?

Looks at my recently collected bunch of Lokish bois.  Hmmm which would cause the biggest stir.

I want to say Xue Yang but everyone would die, so I'm going to go with Yu MingYe (Both played by Wang Hoaxuan so)

He'd be up for it. The poor thing, he needs love.

What is the book you shove down everyone’s throat?

Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke

  1. I love all of this.
Kit and Count Olaf as a pairing deserve more appreciation.
Your Monster Boi/Final Girls post is one of my favourite posts of yours. (which isn't saying much considering I have a lot but still)

They really do, I love pairings like that.
Really! I need to do more like it. (I appreciate that) Love them!
      Thanks! XD

  2. HOWL PENDRAGON FOR LIIIIIFE. THAT'S MY BOI RIGHT THERE. Seriously, what is it about him??? Out of all the wonderful, amazing characters in the world, he is genuinely my top favorite. That boy... *shakes head*

And DUDE. I'd read the HECK out of a Kit x Olaf book. PLEASE. YES. GIMME.

Also, welcome to the pastel and girly life! *high-fives* We make no judgments here. Just glitter. So much glitter.

This was a blast to read! Loved learning all these things about you. And AWK. Thank you so much for tagging me! <333

  3. I'm going to have to go back and look at some of your favorite old posts, I think I've read a few but not all. And old cringe-y posts, not gonna lie, I've gone back and deleted some of my posts that I thought were tasteless or something.

    Howl is awesome!

    I startle easily too.

I'm treated younger too, not probably as much from looking it exactly, I don't know that I really look super younger just sort of could be younger, its just that combined with acting, well, not so maturely I suppose that get me treated younger.

    1. Some aren't so bad, but some I'm like oof. I love reading through other people's old posts though.
I've deleted quite a bit too.

      He is!

Oh maybe it's more common than I thought.

It might be a mix, I know I can get really excited by things and people tend to see that as immature for some reason.

  4. This was such a fun post to read.
Howl is THE BEST. I love him a lot.
I feel like we all have some cringey old posts (though I like lots of your older posts). It's just part of being a blogger, I guess.
    Pastels are amazing!
People acting like you can't like things or people that are problematic is a pet peeve of mine. I hate it when people just ignore problematic stuff, too, though. I feel like you can acknowledge the problems that something has and still enjoy it.

Right! He's always the first character that pops in my head with those kinds of questions.
It almost is a right of passage. (Thanks!) It is.
      I'm obsessed!
I don't understand why because, people are problematic just as themselves. Oh that's true, I agree you should acknowledge it and be able to talk about it.

  5. Ahhh yes! Thank you for your first pet peeve! (That sounds weird. XD) But seriously, people can like somewhat problematic things, as long as they don't like it BECAUSE OF the problematic reasons! (Does that make sense? I hope that made sense.)

Wait...unicorns? Wow. I would not have expected that of you.

    HOWL FOREVER!

    1. :D I'm glad you agree!(No it makes sense XD) Exactly as long as your not romanticizing, glorifying it, or agreeing with it. You can still enjoy it. (It does)

Yeah, honestly me a few years back wouldn't have either. XD

      YESSS!

  6. This was a fun read! I loved reading your answers, especially concerning you're pet peeve with loud noises because I can relate (hate loud noises). Cringiness is definitely how I would describe going back and reading my old posts along with "wow I can't believe my younger self wrote that" lol

I loved this post and learning more about the blogger behind the blog!

    1. Awe thanks! I'm glad so many people seem to have this, because I just thought I was weird. It's hard to get past, but I guess it shows growth. XD

      Thanks for reading!

Loved reading your thoughts and learning more about you.

      Thanks for reading. :D

  8. I love your point that it's okay to love something/someone problematic. No one is capable of being perfect, and tossing someone (and their life's work) aside every time you find out they're not perfect is the dumbest thing I've heard of in basically ever. Sigh.

Anyway, unicorns, huh? ::tucks that away for future reference::

    1. Thanks! It's true, we're all more or less prone to fail at some point. It's really frustrating.

Yeah! *I need to start doing that*

  9. I really need to read Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell, it seems like my sort of thing but it's intimidating!
